Fees
Session Rates
My fee for a 50-minute individual therapy session is $225. I have limited spots for sliding scale appointments and consider them on a case-by-case basis. My fee for groups ranges depending on the content and frequency of meetings.
Payments
Payment is due at the time of service. I accept payment via Zelle, IvyPay (a HIPAA-secured payment application), credit card, and check.
Insurance
I do not accept insurance, one reason being that certain policies may limit your number of sessions and interfere with you getting the support you need. If you do have insurance, I can create a monthly superbill (similar to an invoice) that lists your attended sessions and payments. You can submit this superbill to your insurance company and they may reimburse you directly depending on your coverage.
Contacting your insurance company in advance can be helpful - tell them you'd like to know your coverage for an out-of-network provider who is providing out-patient psychotherapy. Also ask whether you have an out-of-network deductible and whether/how much of it has been met.
